With 3rd Alarm Charters, fishing trips in Vermont are not limited to Lake Champlain. We offer guided fishing trips and site-seeing on the lakes and ponds of Rutland and Addison Counties as well as float trips on the The Otter Creek from Rutland to Vergennes. Book casting trips on Lake Dunmore, Lake St. Catherine, Lake Bomoseen and Lake Hortonia as well as many other smaller lakes and ponds in the Killington and Rutland Region. These trips are available via drift boat, canoe and soon we will offer kayak trips as well. These venues are particularly attractive in the fall as they offer spectacular views of the season's foliage.

We offer Vermont Drift Boat Trips! The drift boat offers us access to rivers such as The Otter Creek, Winooski River, Lamoille River, but also lesser known lakes and ponds that get less pressure. As with all of our trips, all tackle and gear is provided. These trips target both species of bass and pike by fly fishing and spin casting. Out of all the waters listed, The Otter Creek offers the most potential for trophy-quality Northern Pike.

Our Vermont Drift Boat Trips are very mobile and allow us to get into remote areas and secluded fishing spots. These trips are great for spring and fall but can be fished from April to November. Peak dates will be May and June, September and October, since these time periods offer the best fishing quality & water temps. . Our drift boat trips offer more traditional hands-on guiding as they are two clients to one guide... Book with us today as dates are sure fill fast!

Our 8hr trips are considered a "Full day" trip and includes a complimentary shore side lunch of sandwiches, light snacks & beverages. These trips can also be broken down into two separate locations to taste multiple bodies of water!

CANCELLATION POLICY:

3rd Alarm Charters reserves the right to cancel any scheduled trip and/or make changes to trips as deemed necessary. You can contact Captain Matt at any time to cancel your reservation, however your deposit is nonrefundable within 7 days of your scheduled trip. We fish rain or shine. Occasionally, due to an unforeseen situation and/or safety concerns, we may communicate and cancel a trip. If this happens (and it’s rare it does) we will attempt to re-book with you on a date that is agreeable to parties involved.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

3rd Alarm Charters and its employees are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury sustained to participants or personal property during any of our offered trips.
